Adobe announced that they were discontinuing. We made this announcement in collaboration with several of our technology partners – including Apple, Facebook, Google, Microsoft , and Mozilla – which issued complementary announcements with more technical detail on what the Flash Player EOL will mean for developers, enterprises, and consumers using their specific OS environments or browsers. A few of you have emailed me saying that my videos wont play because of a problem with Adobe Flash Player. “As previously announced in July 2017, Adobe will stop distributing and updating Flash Player after Decem(“EOL Date”). With each update, browser vendors are adding more friction and making it more difficult for users to use Flash. If you have any business reason for having flash installed on your system for any reason, please let me know so we can discuss our options. Adobe will end-of-life Flash at the end of 2020, as previously announced, and the browser vendors are following suit, as they have previously announced as well. Adobe Flash is well known for its constant updates and continual discovery of vulnerabilities and you should plan for its use coming to an end very soon. Since Adobe will no longer be supporting Flash Player after Decemand Adobe will block Flash content from running in Flash Player beginning January 12, 2021, Adobe strongly recommends all users immediately uninstall Flash Player to help protect their systems.Adobe Flash is nearing the end of life and will no longer receive updates as of December 31, 2020. Since having Adobe Flash installed on systems has the potential to present a major security issue we will require all customers to have it removed from their systems and will do so in an automated way going forward.
